1. Legal notice

2. Purpose
These terms govern all sales concluded on the website between Dessy Sign and any individual purchasing as a private consumer.
By confirming an order, the customer accepts these terms without reservation.
3. Products – artisanal nature and variations
Each Dessy Sign piece is handcrafted; slight variations may occur between the item delivered and the photographs displayed on the site: jersey texture, appearance of the lines, dimensional tolerances, or color nuances due to screens or lighting.
These variations, inherent to the artisanal process and the nature of the textile, do not constitute a defect.
All photographs, drawings, and texts describing the products are provided for illustrative purposes only; only the essential characteristics specified in the product sheet are binding on the seller.
4. Availability and conclusion of contract
Our accessories are produced in limited series; once the stock is depleted, they will be made to order.
The sales contract is concluded upon the email confirmation of the order.
In the event of temporary unavailability, the customer will be informed by email of an estimated production time and may choose:
– to accept the new time frame or
– to cancel the order and receive a full refund to the original payment method.
5. Prices and payment
Prices displayed on the site are shown in euros, all taxes included, excluding shipping fees.
Shipping fees are specified during checkout.
Payment is due in full upon order confirmation and is processed online via Shopify Payments (Visa / Mastercard / CB) or PayPal.
In case of cancellation after payment due to unavailability or extended production time, the refund will be issued to the same payment method used by the customer.
Transaction fees retained by the payment service provider are not refunded to Dessy Sign.
6. Shipping
Shipments are mainly handled by bpost and DPD.
Orders are prepared and dispatched within an indicative period of 3 to 5 business days after confirmation and receipt of payment, subject to stock availability.
In the case of made-to-order production, the customer is informed in advance of the estimated lead time before shipment.
Dessy Sign cannot be held responsible for delays or losses attributable to the carrier, nor for any cases of force majeure.
The transfer of risk occurs upon handover of the parcel to the carrier.
Parcels sent via the “Economy” option are shipped without tracking or insurance.
By choosing this option, the customer acknowledges that the risk of loss, delay or damage becomes their responsibility once the parcel has been handed over to the carrier.
We recommend the “Standard” option (with tracking) for greater security.
7. Receipt of parcels
The customer is required to check the condition of the package upon delivery.
In case of a damaged or opened package, the customer must immediately submit a claim to the carrier and inform Dessy Sign by email within 48 hours, including photographs.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns
In accordance with European consumer protection legislation, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise the right of withdrawal without having to provide reasons.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
To be eligible for return, the product must be in its original condition : unworn, unwashed, free from signs of use or pilling, not flattened or misshapen, and placed back in its pouch as received.
The return must include all original accessories in their initial condition: pouch, care tool, information cards, original packaging.
Any return that is incomplete or shows signs of use will not be refunded and will be returned to the customer.
Where applicable, refunds will be issued to the same payment method used by the customer within 14 days from receipt of the compliant return.
9. Legal warranties and exclusions
Products are covered by the two-year statutory conformity warranty under Belgian and European law.
This warranty does not cover:
– normal wear and tear of the product;
– damage resulting from improper handling or failure to follow the care instructions provided on the Dessy Sign website and product label.
10. Liability and force majeure
Dessy Sign shall not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, or intangible harm.
It cannot be held liable for contractual breaches resulting from force majeure or unforeseeable external events beyond its control (for example: natural disasters, strikes, transport or communication network disruptions).
11. Intellectual property
All content on the site – texts, photographs, drawings, models, logos, and visual identity – is the exclusive property of Dessy Sign and protected by copyright and trademark law.
Any reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use, whether full or partial, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
12. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
In case of dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution, failing that, the French-speaking courts of Liège shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
